Tami Poteet

Tami Poteet is a licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. She has worked with Cristine Price for the past year at her office at 130 S. Main Suite 215, Logan, Utah.

Tami has successfully treated individuals in all age ranges, from children through geriatrics. She is skillful with issues of depression, anxiety, parent-child conflicts, women’s issues, teen issues, and other personal concerns. She has also facilitated couples in resolving various marriage issues.

Tami charges an economical rate of $65 for out-of-pocket sessions. She also takes insurance and EAP coverage through Cristine Price. Insurance companies accepted include: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Deseret, Tricare and Value Options. She is available Monday mornings and Thursdays all day.

Tami Greenhalgh Poteet completed her 6-year Master’s Program in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, a CACREP accredited school.  Tami has completed residencies and internships across the United States, including:  Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL,  Priestly Mental Health in Preston, Idaho as well as Cristine Price, CMHC in Logan, UT.  She is also certified as a New Life Coach through Christian Life Coach Academy.

Tami practices with a Person Centered approach and facilitates her clients in becoming the experts in their own lives.  She believes in tools that inspire people to discover the best within themselves in order to find solutions to their problems and improve their quality of life. Tami is also developing expertise in integrative mental health approaches, such as emotional release, meditation and mindfulness.
